Abortion

Serious Issue

Ben Weeks is truly passionate about this issue, as it is one that impacts so many people all over the world. We believe that abortion is unconstitutional and should be illegal. Him and his team believes that life begins at conception and it should be considered a termination of a life. In only very special cases should abortions be preformed such as if the mothers life is at risk or a teen girl is raped. Ben Weeks aims to maintain balance within the political system, between why the murder of a pregnant woman is considered a double homicide and abortion is not.

Death Penalty

Our Thoughts

Ben Weeks is a supporter of the death penalty in most cases. He does believe that right now that some death penalty cases are not near serious enough to put people to death. We should raise the standard for the cases that get put on death row. Ben Weeks does think that it should remain an option of justice for our worst criminals. The reason for this is that we should not have to waste our taxpayers money on those awful people.

Ilegal Immigration

How to handle?

Ben Weeks has said that regardless that idea of a wall has been put peoples’ minds as some infiltration of freedoms. There are currently about 11 million illegal immigrants in the US. no matter how “big” or “urgent” the situation actually is, it’s still an issue that will continue to get rapidly worse with great consequences if not dealt with Of course no barrier will be full proof, but it doesn’t have to be. It simply has to reduce the river to a manageable trickle. When you build a wall to keep people in, that’s a prison. When you build a wall to keep people out, that’s an expression of sovereignty. Ben Weeks believes there is great potential in the “wall” being able manage the flow of immigrants and benefit the country as a whole.

Gun Control

Problems & Solutions

Ben Weeks and his team do not support gun control. Gun control laws infringe upon the right to self-defense and deny people a sense of safety. The Second Amendment of the US Constitution protects individual gun ownership. Gun control laws do not put a rest to crime; gun ownership lessens crime. Gun control laws will not prevent criminals from obtaining guns or breaking laws, such as illegal drugs. Gun control laws give too much power to the government and may result in government take over and the government taking away all guns from citizens. It’s the people that kill not the gun. The Second Amendment clearly states, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
